Association for Sport and Leisure Facilities
Russian Sports and Leisure Non-Governmental Organization "Russian Association for Sport and Leisure Facilities" (RASF) was established in July 2005.
The Association was set up to define development strategy for sports facilities network and to implement programmes of physical training and sports development in the Russian Federation. According to the Charter of the Association, both individuals and legal entities with the status of non-governmental organizations may apply for membership.
RASF activities are carried out in close cooperation with government and local authorities, sports federations and other stakeholders.
RASF comprises experts in design, construction, equipping and management of sports and recreational facilities. The Association members and partners are sports and leisure facilities companies and also leading Russian and foreign architectural, design and construction companies, suppliers of sports and engineering equipment.
Scientists and experts, acting as design consultants for the world best sports arenas are engaged in robust cooperation with RASF.
RASF is the official representative of the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities (IAKS) in the Russian Federation, the only organization of its kind recognized by the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee.
RASF performs its activities in the Russian Federation through its structural subdivisions – regional branches.
At present there are 46 regional branches in various regions of Russia.
RASF - is the Consulting and Information Centre providing methodological, informational, scientific and legal assistance to its members and partners.
